Cao-Thang Jeffrey Pham, video & recording

•— G. Donizetti - L'elisir d'amore —•

Adina "Prendi, per me sei libero" (Act II)

•••••• about Adina ••••••

{ Adina is one of my dream roles. Getting to sing this music is always a special and happy time for me. After having experienced to interpret very different characters, I like to stand in her shoes and get a glimpse of what life looks like for her, getting closer to her special and strong energy, her leadership, her brightness. I love the colors her vocality type brings to my voice. It's those kind roles that truly enrich you. }

•— W. A. Mozart - Die Zauberflöte —•

Pamina "Ach, ich fühl's" (Act II)

•••••• about Pamina ••••••

{ Pamina has been a companion since my early days as a singer. Over the years, I've explored this role several times. I've experimented with a wide rainbow of emotions, intentions and interpretations. Singing this rich part, for me, is a chance to outline the complexity of Pamina's inner path, highlight her resourcefulness in the face of challenges, and share the growth of this character throughout the Opera. Musically, the Flute is also an immense pleasure to sing. It's just so perfectly written for the voice. Mozart really knew what he was doing!! Each inflection is here for a good reason, has an effect on the timber, elicits brighter or darker colors from your voice. When you manage to let the music be a flow in your veins, this is a truly amazing experience. }

•— WAVE —• from Antonio Carlos Jobim

•••••• about "Wave" ••••••

{ Hans Adolsen and I, both classical musicians met and firstly found our complicity unexpectedly through jazz. This music is deeply dear to our hearts and for the first time, we decided to share it with you. This was a little moment of fun after an intense recording session. Just chill and lovely time with this song we love. This story of a strong wave resonates strongly with our time, our questioning, climate change challenges, and a feeling of loneliness. I enjoyed changing a few words from the original English lyrics. A new tone emerged very quickly by itself, unexpectedly linking Bossa nova with ecology! Not common, that's for sure! But why not? ;-) "The fundamental loneliness goes whenever we can dream future together"

•••••••••••• Tell me what you think in the comments! I'm curious! ••••••••••••}
